Itinerary and tour details:
The tour begins in the heart of the city, at the Tourism Office, right in front of the port.
Our first destination will be the Reserva Hotelera viewpoint, from where you can take incredible panoramic photographs of the Beagle Channel and the city. We will then descend by vehicle to the historic Italiano neighborhood, one of the first residential areas in Ushuaia. We will walk across the pedestrian bridge that takes us to the old Colombo neighborhood, now converted into a landscaped area.
We will return to the vehicle to travel to the Plaza del Libro, where we will walk through its native forest and learn more about its history. From there, we will head to Paseo del Centenario, which offers a stunning view of the city. Via its steps, we will approach Bahía Encerrada, passing by Ushuaia's historic cemetery.
In the bay, we will visit the Bahía Encerrada Urban Reserve, a key natural area for birdwatching, in front of the traditional neighborhoods of La Misión Alta, Náutico, and the former airport area, where the local Aeroclub now operates.
We'll end the trek at one of the most iconic spots: the Ushuaia Sign, just a few meters from Plaza Malvinas, where the cenotaph and the Wall honoring those who fell in the Falklands War are located.
You can choose to end the trek there or return comfortably to the starting point by vehicle.
