Free Vancouver Walking Tours - The City and Shoreline Trail (Half Day - Morning)

Description
Begin your morning with an immersive journey through Vancouver’s iconic downtown shoreline, where architecture, legacy, and landscape converge. Starting at Canada Place, we ground ourselves with gentle breathwork beside the Olympic Cauldron, honouring the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.
As we trace the Seawall toward Stanley Park, reflections on Expo 86 and the city’s shifting identity shape our steps. We pause at the Totem Poles where Indigenous artistry and cultural stories invite us into deeper understanding. Moving through coastal paths and forest edges, we explore the layered meanings of place and presence.
Highlights include: Brockton Point, the Totem Poles, Lumberman's Arch, Lions Gate Bridge, Siwash Rock, and Second Beach.
Our walk ends at Sunset Beach, a soft, open space where the city meets the sea. Here, we rest, reflect, and share insights during a brief closing circle before lunch. This tour is a celebration of perspective—how far we’ve come, and how the shoreline continues to shape our way forward.
This tour is a half-day option of The City and Shoreline Trail.
