- Rain jacket or umbrella: Weather conditions can change rapidly on the Big Island. While we have rain jackets and umbrellas available in the van, we encourage you to bring your own for personal comfort and fit.
- Closed-toe shoes: Comfortable and sturdy closed-toe shoes are required for walking on uneven terrain.
- Reusable water bottle: Stay hydrated! (Water refills available in the van).

Important Volcanic Safety Information:The dynamic environment of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park may present unique conditions. Airborne 'Pele's hair' (fine, glass-like fibers) or volcanic ash can sometimes be present, which may cause skin and eye irritation. For your protection, we strongly recommend:
