Capri Island with Blue Grotto from Rome

Description

Capri is probably the most famous island in Italy, and rightly so. With its sunny weather, brights landscapes, blue horizon, suggestive sea caves and rocks, and colorful Mediterranean towns, it represents one of our fan favorite excursions. To reach this island from Rome and give yourself a little break from cityscapes, don’t miss this one-day tour. After leaving Rome, your first stop will be the panoramic city of Naples. Here you will leave our private bus to get the ferryboat for Capri, but before you go you could enjoy the iconic marine skyline of the city and of its volcano Vesuvio. Your second stop will be Capri, to enjoy both the lovely cuisine and the evocative sights of the island, with a tasty Italian lunch in a panoramic restaurant and some time for exploring the island, its charming Piazzetta and, mainly, its Blue Grotto sea cave. This unique place takes its name from the sparkling blue reflections of the water inside the cave, so special that, according to the legend, some spirits used to haunt the grotto. You could enter only on a small boat, with local experts, and your experience will be absolutely engaging. Don’t miss it! In the late afternoon, we’ll come back to Naples, and then to Rome.
