History and Religion: Kruja and Sari Salltik holly cave of Bektashi - Small group

The tour starts at 9:00 am where after pick up from the hotel, we will reach Kruja by 10:00.

Kruja Castle is the first attraction on the tour. It is a medium sized castle that has been at the center of the Albanian state of Arbri since the 11th century. During the castle tour we will visit the Ethnographic Museum built in a local house dating back to the 17th century. Then the Historical Museum is our next stop inside the Castle.

Then the traditional Kruja bazaar recalls an old carnival where local craftsmen invite you to take a look at their manual work. It is a vibrant mosaic of traditional motifs, colors and warm hospitality.

For those who love the mystical and holy places, the Sari Saltic cave is the place to visit. Since the 14th century it is a place where thousands of pilgrims visit. Return to Tirana and end of the tour.
