Created by the Cultural Group Civiltà Salinara, this fascinating ethnographic museum celebrates the centuries-old salt-making tradition, telling the story of life in the salt pans through documents, original tools, vintage photos, and personal accounts. The museum is housed in the evocative Magazzino del Sale Torre, an impressive example of industrial archaeology that once stored Cervia’s “white gold.” Today, it's a place full of charm and memory, where the past comes to life and speaks. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, visitors can also access the panoramic room of the nearby Torre San Michele. From 22 meters high, you get a breathtaking view of the sea, the pine forest, the historic center, and, in the distance, the Romagna hills.
