Full-Day Combo: Ourika Valley & Agafay Desert with Camel Ride from Marrakech

The Agafay Desert, just outside of Marrakech, and the Ourika Valley in the Atlas Mountains are two of the most beautiful places in Morocco that you can see in one day.  This tour is the right mix of nature, culture, and adventure, with peaceful camel rides at sunset, beautiful views, and hands-on experiences with the locals.

You will be picked up from your Marrakech hotel or riad in the morning to start the day.  On your way to the beautiful Ourika Valley, you'll go through the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains and see Berber towns and terraced fields.  You can take pictures and visit a Berber house along the way, where you can learn about traditional mountain life and drink Moroccan mint tea.

With the help of a local mountain guide, keep going down the valley until you reach the Setti Fatma waterfalls.  Take in the fresh air and look at the beautiful waterfalls. You will also have time to sit by the river or eat lunch in a traditional restaurant (meal not included).

Afternoon: Your trip continues to the Agafay Desert, a huge, rocky area that feels like a real desert and is only 40 minutes from Marrakech.  When you get there, you'll meet your friendly camel drivers and go for a gentle ride across the golden hills. There will be time for pictures as the sun goes down over the desert.

After this quiet experience, take a break with a soft drink or mint tea before going back to Marrakech. In the evening, you'll be taken to your hotel.

After you've eaten and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the desert, your driver will take you back to your Marrakech hotel, where you'll arrive in the middle of the morning.
