Canyons Peaks & Meadows San Diego Driving Tour

Designed as a sequel to our popular Apple Pies and Desert Skies tour, this drive allows you to explore more of San Diego County's beautiful backcountry and mountain landscapes. While slightly shorter, this drive is just as scenic, taking you through some southern parts of the county. Points of interest along the way include an animal sanctuary, Mt Laguna with its meadows and seasonal lakes, the Sunrise National Scenic Byway, and Lake Cuyamaca. We’ll also be near the mountain town of Julian, so we’ll point that out and provide some tips on visiting there as well.
