Magic of the Forest and Log Sauna, 4 hours
Description
We’ll take a refreshing walk in the forest at the Fox forest farm by the Ounasjoki river and get familiar with the forest, its flora, berries and their nurturing and healing effects.
We’ll watch the making of a traditional natural plant/herbal remedy and enjoy a refreshing tea drink made of natural herbs with health benefits and enjoy a herbal tea.
The tour continues to Fox Cottage, where it’s time to let go of stress in the relaxing heat of the log sauna and enjoy a refreshing and nurturing herbal bath for your feet or have a herbal pampering treatment for your hands.
Depending on your reservation, you may also relax in the hot tub on the terrace, surrounded by the forest and admiring the nature of Lapland.
After the sauna, we’ll serve you a delicious, traditional Finnish dinner in the cozy lounge of Fox Cottage.
At our Fox Farm, we have only local guides with a real knowledge of the arctic nature, so the nature trip with us is a genuine experience.

Know before you go
You may attend this tour wearing any outfit suitable for the outdoors. Please pay attention to the weather – a rain coat may come in handy. We’ll also provide attendees with rainwear (poncho). Due to the wet terrain, please choose your shoes accordingly. Your outfit may also catch the smell of smoke during the tour.
There are separate changing rooms and bathrooms for men and women in the Fox Cottage sauna, but only one steam room for common use. To the relief of shy ones, wearing a swimsuit or a towel is allowed in the sauna. Towels for the sauna are provided by us.
