Husky safari 5 km, self driving, private group and small group
Description
We are in the wild Lapland, about 50 minutes from Rovaniemi centre, at 7 km from the Vanttauskoski village, along the river.
At your arrival, you can dress warmly; we lend, if necessary, an over-suit, warm shoes and hat (adult size only).
You will be introduced to the sledge dog activity. You meet our sledge dogs, get to know the equipment, and learn how to handle a sledge; You will drive your own sledge with 6 huskies, for a 5 km safari, 2/3 persons per sledge in the little or private group only; you can change the driver at a half distance if you wish.
Including Guided hiking in small or private groups, Informative talk about huskies, driving instructions, Cold clothing (adult over-suits, shoes), a hot drink at grillikota, transfers from Rovaniemi and back if you take the transport option; the sledge driving duration is about 25 minutes.
