We will depart early morning to Autti area, 80 kilometers from Rovaniemi city center. The tour consists in three hours hiking through the virgin forest. The area´s main sight and attraction is the 16-meter-high Auttiköngäs Falls, short stops will be made for photos during the hike, also snacks and refreshments will be provided. Along the way you can enjoy the magnificent view of the river and the rapids. Berries and mushrooms are available for pickup during the hike in the summer time.

This exclusive expedition will take you to one of the most beautiful and scenic places in all Lapland. Departing in the morning from Rovaniemi city, you will be taken 150 kilometers south in direction of the Riisitunturi National Park, a breathtaking hiking destination in the heart of Lapland. The hillsides of the park are decorated by rare slope mires and the bare fell tops offer breathtaking views over Lake Kitkajärvi and the forests beyond. The trees in the park are so densely covered with snow that they turn into fantastic white figures. Here you will plunge into a new reality, escape from big city hustle and bustle and return home with new creative ideas. The 3-hours hiking is suitable for all ages and warm drinks will be provided in the middle of the tour to keep you warm. In the winter the candle-like spruces are clad with a thick coating of condensed frost, creating a photogenic white forest. Humid climatic conditions contribute to Riisitunturi's natural beauty. The park has some of the finest sloping bogs anywhere in Europe! In winter the forest that cover many of Riisitunturi National Park's hillsides are clad with a thick coating of condensed frost, creating a photogenic white forest. After the tour, buffet lunch will be provided in a local restaurant before coming back to Rovaniemi. 

Visit Korouoma, a natural park known as the best ice-climbing destination in Finland. An outdoor enthusiast paradise, also known for its great hikes during warmer months. Thanks to this tour, you'll get a chance to appreciate the sightseeing locations of this park, such as canyons, rivers, cliffs and their small streams of water. 

This experience will take place about 120km away from Rovaniemi. During the lunch break you'll taste a traditional Lappish BBQ lunch in front of a campfire. 

Be aware that during  the winter season snowshoes will be provided. For children too young to wear snowshoes, sleds (toboggans) will be provided.

We search for Northern Lights, discover the magic of the snowy forest and make wishes for the next year! Stay next to the inside and outside fireplace with the breathtaking winter lake view. We will have a disco outside and you can warm up inside. We offer you sausages, hot drinks, sweets. And you can take alcoholic drinks with you. 

Your excursion starts with pick-up from your hotel or apartments and transport to lovely Auttiköngäs waterfalls. The drive will take about an hour. Photo stops can be made along the way. Families with children or those looking for a mellow time in the Lappish forest will enjoy this tour.

Upon arrival Your guide will lead the way! This 3.5km hike is geared towards the active traveler and contains moderate elevation gain (240m). There are metal structures along the trail. The metal stairs have wooden duckboards suitable for dog paws as well and the other metal parts in the gorge can be gone around by using a signposted optional route without metal structures.

After 2 kilometers walk you can get your breath back while enjoying a snack and hot beverage by the open fire.

Auttiköngäs is a dream-come-true destination for day trip visitors. The area´s main sight and attraction is the 16-metre-high Auttiköngäs Falls. Auttiköngäs was established as a protected forest in 1995; later it was named a landscape forest. Today Auttiköngäs is part of the Northern Finland old-growth forest protection program. The forest in the Auttiköngäs area is so old that it can be called primary or virgin forest. There has never been any organised logging in the area.  The terrain is varying and jagged. The top of the large Könkäänvaara Hill reaches a height of 240 m, while Ispinävaara Hill at 190 m is definitely not as high but it is much steeper. 

You don't need any experience or special equipment to come with us on this tour, just a sense of adventure. Just bring the recommended clothing, backpack, and camera and we’ll provide everything else. 

Our shuttle will transport us to the right place. Road takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes one way. Photo stops can be made along the way to capture the stunning views of this scenic Lappish nature and its surrounding.

We start on a well-maintained national park trail and proceed 4.5 kilometres along the canyon. This portion of the trip takes about two - two and a half hours. During the hike, our knowledgeable guides identify many of the native plants and flowers. Quite frequently we see reindeer, moose, red fox along the way.  Upon arrival at the forest camp, snacks will be offered by the open fire. 

Korouoma is a 30-km-long fracture valley running from northwest to southeast on the border of the municipalities of Posio and Ranua. It is part of a fracture zone that is hundreds of millions of years old. In the centre of Korouoma the fracture valley forms a canyon that has worn its way into the surrounding terrain. At its deepest, the gorge is approximately 100-130 metres deep. Its cliff walls are tens of metres high and extremely steep and at points vertical. The bottom of this canyon is level and it is 200 to 500 metres wide. Parts of the canyon have become boggy and the narrow twisting River Korojoki meanders through it.

In Ranua Zoo you can see polar bears, brown bears, wolverines. reindeers, lynx, foxes and other animals!

The zoo is approximately 1 hour south of Rovaniemi by car. Upon arrival, you will take a stroll through the zoo, where you can see the interesting animals and birds that live at the "top of the world!". You will be able to dine in the cozy restaurant, visit all kinds of souvenir shops including the Fazer candy/chocolate shop and the wine shop, where they sell unique wines made from wild berries found locally, such as cloudberries, lingonberries and bilberries. 

Korouoma is a 30 kilometer long geological fracture valley in Posio. It is a part of a fracture zone in the bedrock, which is hundreds of millions of years old. At the center of Korouoma the fracture valley forms a gorge with high cliff faces. Small streams which cascade down the cliff faces in the summer, freeze into beautiful frozen waterfalls during winter, making Korouoma the number one ice climbing destination in Finland.
